Most AI tools sell you on a price and leave you to figure out the rest. This article walks through exactly what comes with your WP AI Writer subscription so there are no surprises. We will use plain language. If anything still feels vague, the contact form on /contact gets you a human.
The Three Tiers
WP AI Writer has three subscription tiers. They differ in how many sites you can connect and how much capability the AI gets.
Solo is $19 per month. It connects one WordPress site. The AI learns your brand voice from a twelve-question questionnaire you fill out at signup. SEO basics are automated. Articles ship as drafts to your WordPress with meta tags, featured image, alt text, and internal link suggestions. Email support is included.
Growth is $49 per month. It connects up to three WordPress sites. On top of everything in Solo, you also get multi-language translation tuned for three languages, an internal linking AI that maps connections between articles, automatic schema markup for richer Google results, a content calendar you can schedule against, and AI brand voice training that reads your existing posts to learn your tone more deeply than the questionnaire alone.
Agency is $129 per month. It connects up to ten WordPress sites. On top of Growth, you get a white-label dashboard you can show to clients with your own logo, per-site brand voice profiles so each client reads differently, team seats so multiple people on your team can use the dashboard, priority routing so your generation requests get processed first, and API access so you can integrate the dashboard into your own tools.
All three tiers can be billed monthly or annually. Annual billing costs the equivalent of ten months — two months free.
The WordPress Plugin
Every tier includes the WP AI Writer plugin. You install it on your WordPress site once. It takes about ten minutes. After install, you paste a per-site API key into the plugin settings. That key links your WordPress install to your Orbento dashboard.
The plugin is what receives AI-generated drafts and inserts them into your WordPress as drafts in the standard WordPress editor. It does not change your theme, your other plugins, your permalinks, your categories, your authors, or any of your settings. It also does not have your WordPress admin password. It uses an API key you can revoke from the plugin at any time, which immediately disconnects Orbento from your site.
The Orbento Dashboard
The dashboard is the web app where you actually drive the AI. You log in at orbento.com/account. From the dashboard you can request a new article (one sentence is enough), set up a content calendar, manage your brand voice profile, see the status of articles in progress, view past articles you have generated, see how many article credits and modification credits you have remaining, and switch between connected sites if you are on Growth or Agency.
If you are on Agency, you can also white-label this dashboard. Add your logo. Change the color theme. Send a customized version to your clients with their own per-site brand voice profile.
What Comes With Each Article
Every article that the AI generates includes the same things, regardless of tier.
The body is between 800 and 1,500 words. It is written in your brand voice. It uses your vocabulary. It avoids the AI tells that betray bot-written copy.
A featured image is generated to match the topic of the article. The image is yours — you can use it elsewhere if you want.
Meta tags include a meta title and a meta description tuned to your focus keyword. If you are running an SEO plugin like Yoast or RankMath, the meta tags drop into the plugin's fields automatically.
An SEO focus keyword is selected based on the topic you described. If you want a different keyword, you can override it in the dashboard.
Schema markup is generated as JSON-LD and dropped into the article so Google can render rich results.
Alt text is generated for the featured image so accessibility tools and search engines both have a description.
Internal link suggestions are generated based on the AI's reading of your existing site. Three to five suggestions per article, with anchor text and target URL.
What Comes With Modifications
Each article includes five free AI modification credits. A modification is when you ask the AI to change something specific about an article you already have. The free credits cover any of these actions:
Regenerating a section: "rewrite the introduction with a stronger hook"
Changing the tone: "make this more conversational"
Refreshing meta tags: "come up with a meta description that emphasizes our local market"
Generating a new featured image: "new image, less stock-photo-looking"
Translating into a different language (Growth and Agency only)
Suggesting a different angle: "what if this focused on small business owners instead of enterprise buyers"
Manual typing edits in the WordPress editor never use a credit. They are free.
If you run out of credits on a particular article and want more, you can pay as you go at $1 per modification, or buy a pack: 20 modifications for $15, or 100 modifications for $50.
What's Not in the Plan
We want to be precise about what is and is not included.
Article generation itself is not included in the subscription price. You buy articles separately, either pay-as-you-go at $5 each, or in packs that lower the per-article rate: 10 articles for $40 ($4 each), 50 articles for $150 ($3 each), or 200 articles for $400 ($2 each). The articles never expire and are tied to your account.
Hosting is not included. You stay on whatever WordPress host you already use. WP AI Writer plugs into your site via the plugin. (If you do not have WordPress yet and want a hosted option, our upcoming Smart Site product is what you are looking for. Join the waitlist on /services.)
Custom development is not included. If you need a bespoke web app, a performance audit, an AI integration outside the WP AI Writer workflow, a security review, or a scalability roadmap, that work falls under Specialized Solutions and is quoted per project. Contact form on /contact.
What This Looks Like in Practice
A typical Solo customer subscribes at $19 per month and buys an article pack of 10 for $40 in their first month. They publish ten articles. They use about two or three modification credits per article on average — well inside the five free credits per article. Total first month: $59.
A typical Growth customer subscribes at $49 per month and buys a pack of 50 for $150 to cover three sites over two to three months. They use the multi-language feature on about a third of articles. Total first month: $199. Per-article cost: about $3.
A typical Agency customer subscribes at $129 per month and buys the 200-pack at $400 for the first quarter — about 65 articles a month across ten client sites. Per-article cost: $2. Plus the agency markup they bill their clients.
